The Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported that at night, on June 12, the first explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea at 2:47 a.m in Sevastopol. At 2:50 a.m., explosions were heard in the following areas: Yevpatoriya, Saky and Krasnoperekopsk.
"Strong explosions were heard in Bakhchisaray district. A missile was spotted in the sky. About 20 explosions were heard in the area of Belbek," said one of the posts published at 3:08 a.m. Later, there were also reports of explosions in Chornomorske, and at 3:34 a.m. - in Simferopol.
The attack across Crimea ended in 8-10 minutes. However, later in the morning, at 4:00 a.m., there were repeated explosions in Armyansk.
Later, at 3:43 a.m., Crimean Wind wrote, citing a source, that a S-400 anti-aircraft missile system based near Sevastopol might have been hit, but this information still needs to be confirmed.
Another Russian media source reported that a missile attack had been ''repelled'' in Sevastopol, with the so-called governor claiming that there was no damage or victims.
Earlier, Apostrophe reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed Tu-22M3 bomber during a strike on the Mozdok airfield in Russia.
