A drone strike on the Mozdok airfield in occupied North Ossetia on June 8 resulted in the destruction of a Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bomber.
This was reported by Russian Telegram channels.
The report says that due to the drone attack, the Russians lost one Tu-22M3 strategic bomber. The UAV strike on June 8 hit the Mozdok airfield in Russian-occupied North Ossetia. The drones flew up to 1000 kilometers to attack the enemy airfield.
Russian propagandists note that the damage at the site is very serious, the plane is completely out of commission. It is also noted that the enemy is trying to use some of the parts to repair other bombers.
It is worth mentioning that the Mozdok airfield is home to not only Tu-22M3 long-range strategic bombers, which Russia uses to launch supersonic anti-ship missiles Kh-22, but also MiG-31Ks, which carry Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles.
Earlier, Apostrophe reported that another Russian Su-34 crashed in North Ossetia.
