Enemy strikes Odesa with Iskander missiles, one hit reported

Russian occupiers carried out another massive attack against Ukraine, in particular at Odesa, early on Wednesday, June 12. According to preliminary information, one hit was reported in the Odesa Region.

This was reported in local Telegram channels.

Thus, after a short break the air raid alert in Odesa sounded at 4:57 a.m. Public sources immediately began to urge Odesa residents to seek shelter, as ballistic missiles were spotted coming from Crimea.

"We repeat once again, ballistic missiles are being launched! TAKE SHELTER!" the message said.

And at 5:02 a.m., an explosion was heard in the city.

"EXPLOSION IN ODESA! ARRIVAL!" was written on social media.

According to preliminary information, the Russians fired an Iskander-M missile, and the hit was recorded outside the city. As of 5:17 a.m., there were no new launches, and the alarm was canceled at 5:23 a.m.

As a reminder, ballistic missiles are dangerous because they are launched from a ground-based installation that has been prepared in advance by the enemy. Once launched, the missile reaches its target in a matter of minutes, and the closer the launcher is to the hit site, the less time it takes to respond and announce an air alert.

Earlier, we wrote that Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv.
