Russians attack DTEK's thermal power plant, wounded reported

A DTEK thermal power plant (TPP) was damaged in a massive night attack by Russian occupiers on Ukraine. There are wounded among the personnel.

This is stated in DTEK's Telegram channel.

"Another difficult night for the Ukrainian energy sector. Russians shelled one of DTEK's thermal power plants. Three of our colleagues were wounded. The medical staff is providing all possible assistance," the statement said.

It is noted that in addition, the plant's equipment was seriously damaged. Power engineers are currently working to eliminate the consequences.

DTEK emphasized that this is the seventh attack on the company's thermal power plants in the last three months.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, DTEK Energy's thermal power plants have been shelled more than 180 times. During this period, 53 employees were injured and three power engineers were killed in the shelling," the company summarized.
