The headquarters of incumbent President Donald Trump has filed a series of lawsuits demanding to suspend the presidential vote count.
The statements were received by the courts of Michigan, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
Allegedly, the Republicans did not have access to oversee the vote count in these states. Donald Trump has stated that he considers himself the winner of the election in Michigan, which is one of the battleground states in the presidential election. It's worth noting that President Trump has falsely and prematurely declared his overall victory on the election night, despite millions of votes still being processed.
In Michigan, Trump called Joe Biden's victory the result of secret ballot stuffing.
According to preliminary results, Joe Biden is leading in the presidential race with 264 electoral votes. As of now, Donald Trump is at 214 electoral votes. In addition, Biden leads in Nevada and Arizona, which would bring the Democratic candidate to the required 270.
This year's US presidential election saw a record 120-year turnout of 160 million people.
