Trump surprised with reaction to missing US soldier on Belarus border

US President Donald Trump said he was not informed about four US Army soldiers who are reported missing during military exercises in Lithuania.

This is reported by Newsweek.

Ukrainian journalist Anatoly Maksimov was surprised by the American president's ignorance about his missing soldiers, suggesting that Tulsi Gabbard, the chief intelligence officer, is hiding or distorting information for Trump that is provided in daily reports.

"I basically have everything. If someone is running the country now, it's definitely NOT Trump. If the commander-in-chief is not informed that something happened to 4! his soldiers, then the president is deliberately kept in information isolation or fed infolines about how everything is fine and how damn cool he is," the journalist wrote.

As a reminder, about a thousand American soldiers are deployed in Lithuania on a rotational basis. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said during a visit to Washington that Vilnius is happy to host the rotating US battalions in the country, and that the Baltic country is ready to accept more American troops.

As Apostrophe reported, US soldiers disappeared at a training ground near Pabrade in eastern Lithuania. It is unknown exactly when the soldiers disappeared.
