Azerbaijan established control over new settlements in Karabakh

The new humanitarian truce in Nagorno-Karabakh between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was supposed to start at 8 am on Monday, October 26, remained only on the paper. The parties continue to strike each other’s units.

On Wednesday, October 28, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced that Azerbaijani military forces established control over new settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh. The corresponding video was published in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan Azərbaycan Respublikası Müdafiə Nazirliyinin rəsmi.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani troops established control over the villages of Giyasli and Saratak at Gubadlin district.

According to Apostrophe,earlier Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced that Azerbaijani forces had taken control of 23 new villages in southern Karabakh.
