Russian military servants continue massively refusing to fight against Ukraine — Center for Defense Reforms

In the Russian Armed Forces, military personnel has been refusing to participate in the military campaign against Ukraine, in particular, in the 155th nondivisional marine brigade of the RF Armed Forces (Vladivostok), in which refusals became wholescale.

This was stated on his Facebook page by Oleksandr Danylyuk , the head of the Center for Defense Reforms, coordinator of the interdepartmental platform for counteraction to hybrid threats, which operates within the framework of Ukraine-NATO cooperation.

"There are continuous massive refusals of the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to take part in armed hostilities against Ukraine. For example, only 43 of the 132 servicemen of the 155th nondivisional marine brigade (military unit 30926, Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai) planned to be moved from their permanent deployment point agreed. About 60 members refused, while they were yet in Vladivostok, the rest of them refused on the territory of Belarus," he said.

"In total, about 220 servicemen of the brigade have written refusals to take part in hostilities against Ukraine since the beginning of the war. On the territory of Ukraine, about 50 soldiers of the 155th separate marine brigade have already died and about 110 have been wounded. In addition, some of the servicemen are considered missing," summed up Mr. Danylyuk .
