Numbers exceeded 1600: how many "Shaheds" Russia has managed to produce, photo

Russia has accumulated more than 1,600 "Shahed-136" drones with "K" markings and more than 2,600 with "Ы" markings. These are the "Shaheds" that Russia used in its attack on Ukraine on February 11.

This is reported by Defense Express.

On the night of February 11, when Russia attacked the territory of our country with 45 drones, the enemy used "Shaheds" with the marking "K", the numbers of which exceeded 1600, as well as "Ы" with numbers over 2600.

The company reminds that "K" marks Russian-made drones, which have their own design features compared to Iranian drones. And the "Ы" marking corresponds to the Iranian-made drone, but it differs from the first version of "Geran-M" by installing the Russian navigation system.

In total, from July 2023 to almost mid-January 2024, the enemy launched more than 3,200 "Shaheds", except for the first version with the no longer fixed marking "M". The rate of their production in the Russian Federation as of early 2024 is estimated by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in the range of 330-350 "Shahed-136" units. At the same time, there are problems with stable receipt of all components and units, so each month the figures may vary.

As Defence express notes, the enemy's use of "Shaheds" is influenced by weather conditions. According to the AFU Air Force, in December 2023, the enemy launched more than 600 "Shaheds", which is a record. And in January 2024 - 274 "Shaheds', and in 11 days of February - 171 units.
