A photo of a historic wooden house on Andriyivskyi Descent in Kyiv in the mid-50s of the XX century has appeared online.
It was published by the resource "Club of Native Kyivan".
The photo shows a historic wooden house in a slightly neglected condition at the time, and now the Kanapa restaurant is located there.
As a reminder, Andriyivskyi Descent in Kyiv is a descent in the Podilskyi District of Kyiv that connects Podil neighborhood with Old Kyiv. The descent runs from Kontraktova Square to Volodymyrska and Desiatynna streets. Pokrovska, Borychiv Tik, Frolivska and Vozdvyzhenska streets are attached to it.
The Kanapa restaurant and lounge located on Andriyivskyi Descent currently offers two menus: traditional national dishes prepared according to old recipes and popular Ukrainian recipes in the interpretation of molecular cuisine.
