Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, frontman of the Ukrainian band Okean Elzy and leader of the newly created Holos (Voice) Party, shared information about people he does not see in his party list for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
This was reported by TSN.
“I believe that if our electoral legislation isn’t changed before parliamentary elections… I believe it is very important, but at the same time, those who affect it, parliament and the president, have different opinions on the account. If the old system remains, we don’t expect any true changes. We will create them ourselves. That is why our party’s list – and I will suggest it – has to be fully comprised of people who are not current MPs. It is imperative for people to see that we suggest crucial solutions that no one has ever suggested,” he said.
Regarding his cooperation with the newly elected president Volodymyr Zelensky, Vakarchuk stated the following:
“We have a newly elected president, and tomorrow he’s going to be our current president. The president is the symbol of a country, and every normal citizen, including those getting into politics and aiming to change the country, wishes the President success,” Vakarchuk said.
As “Apostrophe” reported earlier, the astrologer estimated Vakarchuk’s chances in politics.
