The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who caught the coronavirus, was hospitalized at the Feofania hospital. The head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak is being treated there too, as was stated by Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to the head of the President's Office.
According to Podoliak, Feofania has set up a special to enable the President to hold video conferences.
"He [Zelensky] is in an isolated hospital ward now, and, accordingly, he was provided with a special connection there... They [President Zelensky and the Head of the President's Office Yermak] are still working as per their standard schedule. The only restriction is isolation. That is, none of the aides is there to provide the President or the head of the Office with in-person assistance; they are in offline communication,” Podoliak stressed.
The adviser clarified that Zelensky is isolated and does not communicate with his family, even though his wife had already contracted the coronavirus. His communication with Yermak is conducted by phone, as they are treated in two separate wards.
