The winner of the second round of presidential elections Volodymyr Zelensky said that he does not exclude the possibility of appointment of Petro Poroshenko to some position.
He declared it during the briefing for journalists.
"I have no relations with Poroshenko, but if I need the assistance ofPetro Poroshenko, I will definitely call him. I'm ready to turn to him when I need help. Position for Poroshenko? If society wants to see him at this or that position - I will consider this question. But first I will appeal to the society," he said.
At the same time he declared that he intends to get rid of the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.
"This is an old team and we will appoint new people," he emphasized.
Zelensky also said that he intends to restart the Minsk process by introducing the Normandy format of negotiations.
"We will go to the end to stop the fire - this is one of the most important tasks. One of the first tasks is to return all prisoners of war from Russia. I can't promise, but I will do everything I can to bring all our prisoners home. We will make a very powerful information war to end the fire in Donbas. This will be announced in the coming days. We have a plan of actions and our election campaign demonstrated that we can make changes in Ukraine," he said.
He emphasized that he would perceive Ukraine as a one united people and he would not divide it into favorite regions.
"We support the law on the Ukrainian language, but now it is under consideration in the parliament. Being a guarantor, I have to protect the Ukrainian language and I will do it," Zelensky said.
He also added that in the coming days he will would reveal his team.
"We will present the team in the next few days. Regarding the General Staff of Armed Forces - we have very serious guys who have authority in the army. They are generals. Names? Now I have no right to reveal them," he said.
Zelensky also said that he intends to "get rid of the cortege".
