Tymoshenko called for systematic changes in Ukraine and proposed a reform plan

The head of “Batkivshchyna” faction believes that, after presidential elections, Ukraine has a window of opportunity that the parliament and the government should use to create systematic changes.

Yulia Tymoshenko stated this during the National Forum “Ukraine’s Transformation”.

According to her, the imitation of changes and the superficial approach instead of systematic work could kill people’s trust.

“The function of the new president is to be the generator of cooperation for true changes in the country. He may not have enough experience, but he has the opportunity to gather the best intellectual forces that have both experience and desire to make integral work,” Tymoshenko noted.

“We are ready to give all we have and help with everything we can. The most important thing is to not lose hope and energy for work and cooperation”, she said.

The politician believes that the country’s deep transformation should begin with changing the accountability function of state institutions. Another crucial prerequisite for attracting investors is creating an independent justice system.

“Unfortunately, the right to private property, like other rights and freedoms of people, is not properly protected,” Tymoshenko remarked.

The next step to changes, as Yulia Tymoshenko believes, is strengthening the communities that haven’t had access to economic development and land.
