The screenwriter of the "Servant of the people" Yurii Kostiuk told how the team of the new President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is getting ready for inauguration.
In an interview to "Ukrainska Pravda", he admitted that at the moment the inauguration date is not even known at the President’s.
"We do not know it yet. It seems to me that the Central Election Commission has to appoint the date of inauguration. And how are we preparing? We are thinking about some "gimmicks". It is clear that there is an official procedure that we respect," he said.
He added that the President will traditionally also come to the Verkhovna Rada.
"By the way, we thought whether it is possible to bring deputies to other place for inauguration, but for this purpose it is necessary to change the procedures - I mean historical procedures that we should respect and follow. And then we'll figure something out.
We're in the middle of a discussion, I don't want to reveal all the secrets. I think that there has never been such an inauguration before. I can say that it will definitely be interesting," he said.
Earlier, “Apostrophe” reported that Zelensky commented on the official voting results announced by the Central Election Commission, announcing an open competition for the post of its speaker.
