According to eyewitnesses, there are several attackers, and one of them has a grenade. The demands of the attackers and the exact number of hostages are still unknown. The police are expanding the area and mobilizing more police units.

The video was recorded at the microfinance organization by one of the hostages, probably an employee of the institution. He passed it on to the local media. The video reveals the face of a terrorist from the occupied building on Tsereteli Street.
