NATO Fund has allocated a large amount to Ukraine to fight the COVID-19 pandemic

NATO's Pandemic Response Trust Fund to Fight the Coronavirus Pandemic has allocated 500 thousand euros to Ukraine.

This was reported by UNN as per their interview with the NATO official representative.

The funds will be used to deliver critical medical supplies, including portable oxygen concentrators, mobile X-ray machines and personal protective equipment.

According to the press-service of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, “as a reply to the COVID-19 crisis, NATO is providing immediate relief to Allies and partners in need. To date, eighteen Allies have made financial and in-kind donations of medical equipment and supplies to the Pandemic Response Trust Fund. Allies have approved assistance packages for four Allies: Albania, Czech Republic, Montenegro and North Macedonia, as well as for five partners, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq, Moldova, Tunisia and Ukraine”. NATO indicated that additional assistance had been approved for North Macedonia and Ukraine.
