Ukraine plans to start issuing an international vaccination certificate certifying that the person was vaccinated against Covid-19. With this, Ukraine shall not introduce "immunization passports".
According to the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health Coronavirus.Info, this was stated by the Deputy Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
He added that the requirements for the international vaccination certificate are clearly defined by international health regulations.
According to Lyashko, if a certain country requires an international vaccination certificate against COVID-19 when crossing the border, Ukrainians will receive such a free certificate in two clicks.
"But you shouldn't introduce and demand a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 now. I fully agree with the opinion of Hans Kluge, Head of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, who publicly warns and calls the European Commission not to introduce any documents certifying the vaccination against COVID-19," Viktor Lyashko concluded.
