By depleting the enemy, the Armed Forces are preparing for new strategic offensive formats. The prerequisites for offensive operations will be created in spring.
This opinion was expressed by the Former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Army General Mykola Malomuzh in the air of Apostrophe TV.
According to him, everything depends on the situation on the battlefield - how much the AFU today will be able to eliminate the enemy reserves.
"There must be strikes on reserves in the deep rear, which we have begun to do. And most importantly - on approaches from zero to 80 kilometers, where the enemy moves by trains, convoys, columns of tanks, APCs. And this just may be the main strikes to destroy the enemy," - said Malomuzh.
The General is convinced that in such a case the enemy's forces will be exhausted and it will not have the resources to conduct offensive operations. At the same time, the AFU will be preparing for new strategic offensive formats.
"In the near future, EU and US aid packages will be approved, armaments will be strengthened with equipment and aircraft, missiles and a large amount of ammunition. Then our prospects will be extremely strong: we will not only "exhaust" the enemy for the spring, but also create conditions for offensive operations for the period of spring-summer," Malomuzh summarized.
