"Without exaggeration, one of the best fighters of the battalion, Roma 'Lutyi' Boyko, died."

During his service, he was able to destroy more than a dozen occupiers. It is noted that the soldier joined the service in 2014. Viktor Faychuk says that in the last battle, Roman "Lyutyi" managed to eliminate several occupants and prevented them from taking Ukrainian positions.

Journalist and military man Oleksandr Kurbatov also wrote about Roman's death. He recalls the following:

"Roman Boyko, a bright man and a true warrior, died. You may have heard about him, because there were about one million three hundred thousand views on only one of the many TV channels that filmed the story of how Roman was surrounded for 8 days."

Oleksandr Kurbatov recalls that Roman faced not just a battle, but a series of attacks where he had to take the weapons of the liquidated Russian occupiers and continue to defend himself:

"Roman faced not just a battle, but a series of attacks where he had to take the weapons of the killed "orcs" and continue to fight. He was sent water and batteries for his radio by drone to keep in touch, and he continued to hold his position."

In eight days, Roman destroyed fifty invaders, shot down an enemy tank, and emerged victorious from that battle.

The man came to military service with previous injuries: "...with a group III disability". Oleksandr notes:

"To join the army and defend Ukraine, he left his job in Israel and returned home. He didn't go for military romance or glory, because he served in the ATO and was surrounded for the first time near Debaltseve, and therefore understood well what war is. He came back because his wife and children live here in Ukraine, his large family is here, this is his land, and there is no other Ukraine."

Oleksandr recalls how Roman was advised to "discharge" during his hospitalization due to his new and previously acquired injuries:

"But who would stay in the army then, Roman asked. He decided to stay."

However, in the last battle, while eliminating the Russian enemy, Roman "Lutyi" Boyko was killed. The man is survived by his wife and children.
