During the meeting in Normandy, French President Emmanuel Macron may announce sending instructors and a new batch of military aid to Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed by Yevhen Magda, Director of the Institute of World Policy, on Apostrophe TV.
"Macron wants to be a European political leader and use it in his future political career. Therefore, at the meeting in Normandy, he will probably announce the sending of instructors and a new batch of military aid," he said.
At the same time, Magda believes that no concrete decisions should be expected at the Peace Summit, as it will be difficult for the participants to reach an agreement.
"The Russians are trying to reduce the level of representation at this Summit. In addition, it will be difficult for more than a hundred participants to reach agreement on any issues in two days. This Summit is the first step towards achieving peace on the basis of territorial integrity," the expert believes.
Magda is also convinced that the second conference will also be fruitless, as none of its decisions will be implemented by Russia.
Earlier, we reported that US will announce new military aid to Ukraine soon.
