Ukrainian graphic artist, public figure, and creative strategist Olesya Drashkaba believes that "great Russian culture" is a "culture of scoundrels," in which the Russian Federation is a world leader.
Drashkaba posted her thoughts on the topic of "great Russian culture" in a post on her Facebook page.
According to Draškaba, the basis of the Culture of Thugs is ostentatious power and ostentatious wealth, as well as complete disregard and cruelty towards weakness and moderation.
"In contrast to European culture, which comes from Antiquity and cultivates the secondary nature of evil and the victory of Truth over evil ALWAYS, even (mostly!) in an unequal struggle - the Culture of Thugs cultivates what has recently been heard from all the screens of the world: "You should not get involved with someone who is much stronger than you!" This is the basis of the power of the Culture of Thugs," the artist noted.
In her opinion, "Russian culture of ghouls" is very attractive and is exported well. Russia spends large budgets on propaganda and culture for this. In Russia, they try to show that European culture is too elite, incomprehensible, "simply about nothing," while theirs brings a "new look," a "new vision," a "fresh breath."
"For the more educated segments of the population, the Culture of Thugs is presented through romanticization and culture, for the more down-to-earth – through politics. We are already seeing a parade of Thugs in Europe, who are commonly called "populists", "Euro-skeptics", etc. In fact, these are simply active and Moscow-paid adherents of the Great Russian Culture of Thugs. They perfectly broadcast all signals and all the world's Thugs instantly read them," Drashkaba believes.
However, the artist is convinced that "it's doing its thing for us."
"The ghoul is afraid of the free, brave, creative, well-read, thoughtful, valuable, those who are armed with knowledge about him and do not let the ghoul into their soul. That's what we stand for! David defeated Goliath, and Kotygoroshko defeated the Dragon. This is our myth, and myths always work!", - believes Drashkaba.
