Editor Kirill Martynov called the meat grinder a symbol of modern Russia.
He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
As an example, Martynov cited a meat grinder given to the mothers of Russian soldiers killed in the war by local officials in the Murmansk region. The editor also recalled the detention of comedian Artem Ostanin and his transfer to the Russian Federation with a meat grinder around his neck.
He is convinced that the state has the task of controlling by any means that part of the citizens, especially women, who were directly affected by the war.
"However, the point is not in this symbolism, but in the broader gender perspective of the war: women whose children were killed on Putin's orders should accept the gifts that his representatives bring posthumously, and publicly thank them for their mercy." A meat grinder is a useful thing in the household, with the help of which a woman in the Murmansk region can realize her "traditional purpose," Martynov believes.
The editor emphasizes that the same people who caused the loss are taking it upon themselves to bring their victims to their senses.
"If a meat grinder and an offer to work in the kitchen do not help to survive the loss of a child, then it is the turn of the church, and the acceptance of reality should be mediated by the fact that the current bearded men in cassocks explain: "all this is God's will," - said Martynov.
As a reminder, a Russian stand-up comedian, who recently found himself in the spotlight for his joke about the Russian occupier and who was charged with inciting hatred on March 16, was detained while trying to leave the Russian Federation. He was eventually handed over to Russian security forces with a meat grinder around his neck and no dreadlocks.
