Ukrainian diplomat volunteered to become governor of occupied Moscow

Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland Vasyl Bodnar responded sarcastically to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's proposal to transfer Ukraine under external control.

On the air of Polish RMF FM, Bodnar said that Ukraine is a democratic state, and elections will be held here after martial law is ended.

At the same time, the ambassador noted that it is not Donald Trump, who also spoke about the need for elections, who will vote for them, but the Ukrainian people. According to him, incumbent President Volodymyr Zelensky has a real chance of re-election.

" When Russia begins to fall apart, I will voluntarily become the governor of occupied Moscow in order to properly govern the territories ," he added ironically.

The ambassador also emphasized that Ukraine is not going to cede any of its territory, including Crimea. In his opinion, the return of Crimea is only a matter of time.

Regarding the agreement with the US on minerals, Bodnar confirmed that it will be signed, but noted that the current version of the document does not suit Ukraine.

" We have already gone through this period of 'pain' and are not reacting to attempts by other countries to seize our resources ," he added.

Previously , the National Security and Defense Council explained Putin's idea of transferring Ukraine under external control as part of the Russian Federation's policy of delaying and disrupting the process of ending the war and achieving peace.
