In response to shelling of a medical car, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed two illegal militant positions in the Joint Forces Operation zone. A volunteer Yurii Mysiahin published the video on Facebook.
“This is revenge for our medics. The Ukrainian Armed Forces get to terrorists in their underground covers and high in the “sky”. This is a completely different area of the front, but it is exactly where the enemy received our response. They thought they could easily shell us from the top of a slagheap, having a perfect view and controlling a large territory. They thought they were out of reach, but we did reach them quite well,” the volunteer commented on the video.
According to him, soldiers from the K-2 combat reconnaissance group and the 54th brigade were the ones to strike the militants.
“At first, they sent the volunteers’ drone to the very top of the heap, with the drone basically hanging over the enemy’s heads. It filmed everything. Then, they analyzed the video and assessed the situation. When all the preparations were done, two infiltrators were sent to the exact place to destroy two nests of the Russian terrorists. Hitting the target precisely. The revenge keeps coming for them,” Mysiahin noted.
On July 1, two people died as a result of the enemy shelling of a medical car, including combat medic Iryna Shevchenko.
