After the disengagement in Petrovskoye and Zolotoye, similar activities will be carried out in the Bogdanovka area and at four other sites and along the entire line of demarcation.
This is reported by "Apostrophe" with reference to the written response of Lieutenant General Vladimir Kravchenko, Commander of the Joint Force, to the Radio Liberty.
"Four additional areas have been tentatively identified, where the parties may disengage, but decisions on them have not yet been taken by the trilateral contact group in Minsk... Force generation will begin at the sites near Bogdanovka and Zolotoye, then - at four more sites and after that along the entire line of demarcation," described in the response.
At the same time, the main condition for disengagement along the entire line of separation is the final ceasefire. The withdrawal process will take 30 daysitself and will begin when the silence is maintained for 7 days.
A total of about 30 localities are to be identified at the JFO headquarters as locations for the disengagement process.
It is noted that three days are given for the direct withdrawal of forces and assets. The withdrawal should take place at a distance of about 2 kilometers.
It is not yet clear who will monitor the withdrawal of Russian armed formations besides the OSCE SMM.
