Late at night the occupants launched a new attack on Myrnohrad, Donetsk Region. There are 2 dead and 11 injured, and the city's infrastructure is destroyed.
The number of casualties as a result of the attack was reported by the Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
He posted a message on Telegram, saying the following:
"Russia is killing civilians! On March 12, Russians killed 2 residents of Donetsk Region - in Myrnohrad".
He noted that 11 more people in the region were injured during the day, leaving the following infographic on the number of victims suffered at the hands of Russians in Donetsk Region (excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha).
At 08:18 a.m., the State Emergency Service of Ukraine wrote that "in recent hours, high-rise buildings in three cities of Ukraine have been destroyed by Russian attacks."
They inform that the occupants hit Myrnohrad in Donetsk Region with a missile in the evening, partially destroying a five-story building.
"Two people died, their bodies were unblocked from the rubble by rescuers. Another 6 people were rescued from the rubble, including 1 child. 4 people were injured," the statement said.
Local public sources also published footage of the destruction the city suffered.
It is stated that the enemy fired a Grom-E1 air-to-air guided missile at the city at approximately 11 p.m. The strike hit a five-story building, damaging 4 houses in total. At 07:38 a.m., Myrnohrad CMA reported that a woman and a man were killed in the shelling.
It was added that rescuers managed to get a 13-year-old girl out of the rubble - she was not physically injured: "All the wounded are receiving medical care: 1 person is in serious condition, three others are in moderate condition." It is noted that the search operation at the scene has been completed.
