Russians hit Mykolaiv with ballistic missiles, there are dead and injured

On the night of April 11, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with missiles and Shahed drones, and in the afternoon they struck Mykolaiv with ballistic missiles, killing and injuring people.

This was reported by the Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim and local Telegram channels.

It is noted that the enemy struck the Voznesenskyi district of the city with ballistic missiles. At first, it was not clear that they were launched, so the air raid alarm sounded almost simultaneously with their arrival. It happened at around 12:00 p.m.

"According to preliminary information, 2 people were killed and 4 injured as a result of the hit in the city," Vitaliy Kim wrote.

As a reminder, ballistic missiles are projectiles that fly along a ballistic trajectory, meaning they travel in an arc and rely on gravity to reach their target. Ballistic missiles are one of the most difficult targets for Ukrainian air defense, as they can fly over long distances and be launched from stationary and mobile installations.

Earlier, we wrote that Ukraine was attacked by more than 40 missiles and 40 drones.
