Defense Forces hit Russian S-300 and S-400 in Crimea

The consequences of the nighttime explosions in Crimea have become known - the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit Russian S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. The radars of the complexes immediately stopped working after the hit, and the munitions detonated shortly afterward.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that on the night of June 10, the Defense Forces managed to successfully strike at Russian air defense systems in the temporarily occupied Crimea: "Thanks to the successful combat work of the Defense Forces, the air defense of the Russian invaders in Ukrainian Crimea suffered significant losses."

One of the strikes hit one S-400 anti-aircraft missile division of the occupiers, which was deployed in the Dzhankoy area. The other strikes hit two enemy S-300 anti-aircraft missile divisions, which the Russians deployed near Chornomorske and Yevpatoriya.

"None of our launched missiles was intercepted by the enemy's ‘highly effective’ air defense," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

The report also mentions that after accurate strikes on the air defense systems, the radars of these complexes stopped working in the specified areas. In addition, the General Staff emphasizes the further detonation of ammunition in all three areas of the starting positions of the Russian anti-aircraft missile divisions.

Earlier, Apostrophe also wrote that the Armed Forces of Ukraine sank another Russian ship in the Sea of Azov.
