On the morning of July 3, Russia attacked Dnipro with missiles and attack drones, damaging a shopping mall. There were reports of smoke in the city.

Suspilne Dnipro, citing its correspondents, reported explosions in Dnipro at 8:45 and 9:11 a.m. At 9:24 a.m., there was a report of smoke: "Smoke can be seen in Dnipro after the explosions". Later, about 10 more explosions were heard in the city.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that missiles and a group of attack UAVs were moving toward Dnipro and the region: "Dnipro - a group of attack UAVs in the direction of the city from the west!"
After the explosions, the media wrote about the damage to one of the shopping malls where windows were smashed.
It was also noted that a fire broke out near one of the city's medical institutions: "Smoke is visible in one of the premises. As the medical director of the institution told Suspilne, there is no information about injured or dead people at the moment (as of 10:00 a.m. - Apostrophe)."
However, at 10:51 a.m., the Mayor of the city Borys Filatov wrote: "Unfortunately, there are dead civilians".
Local Telegram channels showed footage of the damage to the shopping mall.
