The Brazilian president confirmed that Putin will receive an invitation to the "G20" Summit and will make a decision whether to go or not by himself, taking into account the possible consequences.

"I'm not the one who decides this, it's up to the court to decide, and the president does not evaluate the decisions of the court, he follows them or not ... If Putin comes, he knows what will happen," Silva added.

At the same time, he backtracked from previous words when he promised that Brazil would not arrest Russian president, reminding that the country signed Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and has "obligations.
