Gitanas Nausėda has won the presidential election in Lithuania after the votes were counted at all polling stations.

According to the Chief Election Commission, after counting the ballots at all 1895 polling stations, Nausėda won 74.43% of the vote. Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonyte, who opposed him, received the support of 24.06% of voters.
Lithuania held the second round of the presidential election on Sunday. A total of 49.61% of the country's citizens cast their votes in the presidential election.
Last time Nausėda was elected to the presidency in 2019, he also went to the second round with Šimonyte. The result was 66.72% and 33.28%, respectively. Both candidates support Ukraine.
