The Main Intelligence Directorate revealed details of the losses of the Russian army in the Kursk region

The project of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "I Want to Live" presented an incomplete list of dead and wounded paratroopers of the elite 137th Guards Parachute Regiment of the 106th Airborne Division of the Russian Armed Forces from the city of Ryazan (Russian Federation). These losses of the Russian army concern the Kursk region.

The project announced this on its page in the Telegram channel.

It is noted that the list does not include those who went missing and were captured.

"A little about the losses of the Russian army in the Kursk region. This is an incomplete list: 47 paratroopers were killed and 21 were wounded during just a week of fighting from March 1 to 7 in the area of the settlements of Lebedovka, Lyubimovka, and Tovsty Lug in the Kursk region. The list does not include missing persons or those who were captured; it includes only those who were taken to the Kursk hospital. In fact, the regiment, which before the Russian invasion had 1,500 personnel, lost an incomplete company of soldiers during the week of fighting. Along with the disposal of their soldiers, they also destroyed their own settlements and the civilian population, which the Kursk authorities refused to evacuate in 2024," the report says.

In addition, the GUR recalled the death of 118 crew members of the Kursk submarine, which shook all of Russia 25 years ago.

"Then, the KGB man who knew no empathy, Putin, called the submariners' widows "ten-dollar prostitutes." Now Russia is losing 10 Kursks every day, killing and destroying everything in its path along the way. Putin does not mention the families of the dead in principle, and the Russians themselves no longer care about the death of their sons. The desire to seize foreign land, to destroy another people, is stronger for modern Russians than the bitterness of the loss of so many young lives," the intelligence agency states.

Let us add that Russian military analyst Yan Matveyev ridiculed the "Kursk Cauldron", recalling that the deadline for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's "ultimatum" expired on the morning of March 17, but there were no Ukrainian soldiers who laid down their arms and surrendered. Instead, Russian media wrote about "Spanish-speaking mercenaries", somewhat undermining the words about the "Kursk Cauldron".
