Another Russian Su-34 crashes in North Ossetia

A Russian Su-34 fighter jet crashed in the mountains of North Ossetia. The crew died in a crash.

This is reported by Russian news agencies.

According to Russian public sources, local residents reported seeing an unknown aircraft crash in the mountains. According to eyewitnesses, it hit a rock near the village of Gorny Dzuarikau around midnight.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the crash. The preliminary cause of the crash was allegedly a technical failure.

The Su-34 is a Russian multifunctional frontline supersonic fighter-bomber designed to conduct air strikes against enemy targets in operational and tactical depth, with the main efforts being concentrated at a distance of 150-600 km from the battle line.
