The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced his readiness to dissolve the Parlament if the MPs do not resolve the "political collapse" created by the latest decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
"I want this parliament to work for the state," Zelensky stated.
Zelensky made it clear that the MPs should support the proposed draft law, which cancels the latest decision of the Constitutional Court (in particular, the one that declares certain provisions of anti-corruption legislation illegitimate and unconstitutional), ruling that the whole composition of judges must resign.
Verkhovna Rada MPs are expected to consider the bill this week.
