“Does not pose any threat”: the Kremlin commented on the strengthening of the Russian military presence on the border with Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that theconcentration of Russian troops on the border with Ukraineshould not cause any concerns to other countries, because Russia allegedly does not pose a threat to any other states.

The corresponding statement was published by TASS.

Commenting on the reports of the Russian troops' movement in the Rostov region, he said that "this should not cause any concern to anyone" and that it is allegedly done to "enforce reliable security" of the Russian Federation.

"Russia does not pose a threat to any country in the world, including Ukraine," Peskov said, adding that Russia "is always very attentive to its own security."

As was earlier reported by Apostrophe, France and Germany said they were concerned about the increase of the tensions in Donbasand therefore, theycontinue to monitor the movement of Russian-occupation troops on the border with Ukraine.
