Sweden to provide Ukraine with not one but two 'flying radars'

As part of its largest aid package for Ukraine, Sweden will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with not one, but two ASC 890 airborne surveillance and control aircraft.

The spokesperson for the Swedish Prime Minister Tom Samuelsson wrote about this on the social network X.

He wrote that on May 29, Sweden announced the largest package of military aid, the total amount of which will reach €1.16 billion (approximately $1.3 billion).

Earlier, in addition to ammunition and other weapons, it was noted that the package would also include an ASC 890 airborne surveillance and control aircraft to help identify targets at long range. Instead, it became known that there will be not one but two aircraft. Here is how Tom Samuelsson comments on this:

"The package includes two Airborne Surveillance and Control aircrafts (ACS890), helping Ukraine to identify targets at long range."

In addition, the spokesperson for the Swedish PM mentioned that Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson had already presented the aircraft to the Ukrainian Ambassador to Sweden and posted a photo of it.
