The first meeting between Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and the President of the United States Donald Trump is scheduled to take place in Warsaw on September 1, according to the National Security Advisor of the United States John R. Bolton’s comment to the “European Pravda”.
American diplomat has also noted that the White House hopes Donald Trump will get a chance to discuss topical matters with Zelensky.
“We’re counting on the presidents being able to talk in Warsaw during events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the World War II start,” Bolton stated.
Donald Trump’s advisor has also explained the absence of an official meeting announcement.
“The leader has already had two warm conversations with Zelensky, and they will get a chance to talk again, even though I don’t know how long the meeting will last including the busy schedule,” he said.
