On Tuesday, August 31, as part of his working visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will share a meeting with the U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J, Austin III.

According to the Department of Defense, Secretary Austin hosts an honor cordon and meeting welcoming Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky and Minister of Defense Andrii Taranto to the Pentagon at 2 p.m. EDT on the steps of the River Entrance.
The parties will discuss a number of important issues related to military cooperation between the two countries. After the meeting, a press conference with journalists is planned.
In addition, during his working visit to D.C., Zelensky will meet several American officials. Representatives of Ukraine and the United States are expected to sign several agreements.
The visit program is designed for several days and will cover a number of cities on the East and West Coasts of the United States.
