Lithuania will provide Ukraine with military ammunition: what is known

Lithuania plans to donate military equipment to Ukraine worth 677,000 euros. A batch of bulletproof vests and ballistic belts to be transferred to Ukraine according to the corresponding resolution of the Lithuanian government. This was reported by the Lithuanian national radio LRT.

"The Ministry of Defense has prepared a draft government resolution according to which 490 bulletproof vests and the same number of ballistic belts will be donated to Ukraine," the Lithuanian radio station informs.

The delivery of the equipment includes 490 bulletproof vests for a total value of 617.8 thousand euros and as many ballistic belts for a total cost of 59.3 thousand euros. It should be noted that the equipment is transferred at the request of the Ukrainian side and free of charge.

Lithuania is the first NATO country to officially recognize it has been supplying Kyiv with weaponry since 2014. At the moment, Ukraine and Lithuania are cooperating in the field of security and defense.
