On April 11, the Israeli-made Bereshit spacecraft will land on the Moon. The spacecraft will land on the surface around 22:00 Kyiv time.
According to the Western press, on the eve the engineers completed the last maneuver to balance the movement of the spacecraft in an elliptical orbit. During the maneuvers, the engines of the device worked for about 32 seconds. During this time it spent about 5 kilograms of fuel. The maneuver was performed from the back side of the moon.
As it is already known, Bereshit was launched into space from Cape Canaveral on the Falcon launch vehicle on February 22. It is expected that its landing will take place in the area of the Sea of Clarity in the Northern hemisphere of the Moon.
The landing will be broadcast on YouTube. It is scheduled to start at 21:45.
Earlier, "Apostrophe" reported that the American space Agency NASA unveiled an impressive video of the passage of the Moon in front of the Sun.
