The Ukrainian government has introduced new quarantine restrictions to protect citizens from COVID-19.
From April 6, the following measures will apply in Ukraine:
- it is forbidden to stay in public places without wearing personal protective equipment - a respirator or a protective mask;
- it is forbidden to visit parks, squares, recreation areas, forest parks, and coastal areas;
- it is forbidden to leave the place of observation without permission;
- it is forbidden to be on the streets without identity documents (certifying citizenship of Ukraine or special status);
- it is forbidden to gather in groups of more than two people, unless accompanying children;
- it's forbidden to have a rest in parks, woods, seaside zones (organize picnics);
- children under 14 years of age are prohibited from being in public without being accompanied by their parents;
- it's forbidden to visit institutions that provide social services.
As of April 3, 942 people in Ukraine are infected with coronavirus COVID-19.
