Private entrepreneurs continue holding protests in Kyiv

On Thursday, January 28, a protest of private individuals (individual entrepreneurs) started on Independence Square. The protesters have planned a large-scale march. First, entrepreneurs are going to walk to the Delegation of the European Union, after which they will go to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, and then to the US Embassy, as was reported by the UNIAN.

According to their group on Facebook, about a thousand people are preparing to take part in today's march through the capital. As of 10:00, about 500 people have already gathered on Independence Square and headed to the Delegation of the European Union building. The protesters hope that the international community will hear them and help them solve their issues.

At the end of the day, several thousand activists gathered in downtown Kyiv.

On their way to the EU Delegation, several entrepreneurs stopped by the building of the Kyiv City State Administration. The column planned to reach the Constitutional Court and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. According to the organizers of the march, they decided to follow this route, because they are trying to knock on absolutely all doors to influence the situation somehow.

The protesters' demands have not changed. People want the authorities to introduce a simplified taxation system, so small and medium-sized businesses can finally work properly.

As was reported by Apostrophe earlier, participants of a protest rally of entrepreneurs demanding the abolition of the introduction of cash registers for private individuals, previously said they would stand until they are heard by President Vladimir Zelensky.
