Ukraine has fulfilled the conditions for unblocking the border with Poland, which were previously agreed with the European Commission and official Warsaw.
This was announced on air of the TV marathon by Serhiy Derkach, the Deputy Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
According to the official, there is already a movement in the question of the border blockade, as the checkpoint "Ugrinov - Dolgobychiv" was opened.
"In addition, according to the latest agreements with the European Commission and Polish government, we have drawn up a number of measures to satisfy the protesters and stop the protest. In fact, all of these conditions have been fulfilled," Derkach noted.
He added that Ukraine is technically ready to open new lanes for empty vehicles in the "Equeue" system, as promised earlier. But, this is possible only if the border will be opened. According to Derkach, today there was a meeting of the Council of Transport, Trade and Energy in the European Commission, which, in particular, discussed the question of blockade at Poland's border with Ukraine.
"The majority of EU countries came out with support of Ukraine. In fact, every country disapprove the protests that are taking place on the Ukrainian-Polish and Ukrainian-Slovak borders, which causes economic damage to the whole EU and definitely doesn't help Ukraine to win the war. Therefore, there were loud statements from some EU countries and from the EC about immediate measures for the Polish government," he added.
Earlier "Apostrophe" reported that Polish side is ready to unblock the border if Ukraine fulfills their demands.
