German intelligence conclusions saying that the aggressor-country Russia will take 6-8 years to recover after the war with Ukraine to attack NATO, are a mistake. The Russian Federation can recover in 1.5-2 years.
This was stated by a military expert, The Director of the Research Center of Army, Conversion and Disarmament Valentin Badrak , on the air of Apostrophe TV.
According to expert, only the strengthening of Ukraine's defense capabilities can hold back the expansion of Russian aggression.
"Therefore, the only way for NATO is to reinforce Ukraine properly. This can be done both: by the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and by cooperating with NATO countries," he said.
Badrak believes that the crisis in the US government has led to a good result in Europe that increased support for Ukraine. However, according to him, there are some difficulties.
"For example, France holds the position of providing Ukraine with security guarantees. However, we cannot go for such agreements without signatures and ratifications in Parliament, remembering the destiny of the Budapest Memorandum. Today, the Ukrainian military industry is constantly growing. The production of missiles and drones has been established. The programs of the Army of REB and the Army of Robots have been launched. And there is an opportunity to catch up with the failures in war preparation," the expert summarized.
