Conquered Hoverla, but got lost: Polish tourists were rescued in the Carpathians, video

On Thursday, Jan. 4, four citizens of Poland lost their orientation during a tourist route in the Carpathian mountains and got lost, asking for help from rescuers.

About it informs the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that three young men and a woman from the Republic of Poland conquered Hoverla and went to the descent, but on the way they were caught by dusk, dense fog and snow.

Therefore, the foreign travelers had to stop and ask for help from mountain rescuers, providing the coordinates of their location.

Today at 4:30 in the morning rescuers found the lost near the mountain valley Hropa, warmed them with hot tea and transported by all-terrain vehicle "Bogun" to the place of temporary accommodation in the village Lazeshchyna, Rakhiv District.

The group refused medical assistance.

We shall remind you that yesterday Polish farmers started blocking traffic at the checkpoint "Shehyni-Medyka" again.
