Polish farmers started blocking traffic at the checkpoint "Shehyni-Medyka" from 09.00, January 4.
This is reported by a number of Telegram channels.
"They announce that the protest will last until February 3. They promise to allow three trucks per hour, vehicles with perishable goods and humanitarian aid - without delays. Cars and buses are moving as usual. They say they will continue to protest until the Polish government signs a guarantee that their demands will be met," the report says.
"According to the latest information from the Polish Border Guard, the traffic blocking for trucks resumed today at around 09:00 on Polish territory (the road in front of the Medyka checkpoint, adjacent to the Ukrainian checkpoint "Shehyni"). In this regard, traffic may be complicated both for exit from Poland and for entry," the statement said.
It is noted that in this direction, about 800 trucks are currently waiting to enter Ukraine from the territory of Poland. At the same time, the organizers of such actions in Poland don't plan to interfere with the movement of buses and cars.
Earlier, "Apostrophe" reported that Polish farmers are again threatening to resume the blockade of the checkpoint on the border with Ukraine.
