More than a moat with alligators: Ukrainian army Lieutenant General shows how Ukraine's northern border is protected from Russians, video

Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General, Serhiy Nayev, showed how defense lines and positions are being strengthened daily in the north of Ukraine, and the area is being mined.

He wrote about it in his Telegram-channel, and published the corresponding video.

According to him, the work is carried out by the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and regional military administrations. In particular, representatives of the Armed Forces equip the field fortification, and the RMA equip concrete structures and perform other tasks. This is done in order to strengthen Ukrainian defense capability.

"It is worth noting that all the lines are prepared for the present personnel. Also, preparations are being made for future forces that will arrive in the case of an increase in the threat, in addition to this, field fortification is being processed into a long-term one with the help of concrete," - stated in the message.

In addition, more than 3.5 thousand anti-tank mines were laid, 4.5 kilometers of anti-tank ditch and 5 thousand trenches were dug during the week. About 25 concrete firing structures have already been built at the defense positions.
