Ukraine will be able to launch an offensive no earlier than 2025: military expert explains why the war is dragging on

The war will drag on for at least another year. Ukraine will be able to advance only after receiving significant amounts of equipment from European partners and the United States.

This was stated by military expert Oleh Zhdanov on the air of Apostrophe TV.

He pointed out that there are currently not enough opportunities to form new brigades or restore the combat capability of those brigades that are currently operating to form a new offensive guard.

"That's why all the forecasts are being moved closer to 2025. If Europe boosts its military-industrial complex, we may start receiving significant amounts of equipment from our European partners in late summer or early fall. If the United States joins in, we can form an offensive force for the winter campaign," the expert noted.

According to him, if this does not happen, a counteroffensive will be possible only in 2025 and the war will drag on for another year.

Earlier, we reported that US political strategist Dane Waters named three possible scenarios for ending the war in Ukraine.
