Finland became the world's happiest country for seventh year

Finland has become the leader in the World Happiness Report's happiness ranking for the seventh time in a row.

This is evidenced by the annual World Happiness Report, which was traditionally released on the International Day of Happiness.

Its neighbors, Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden, are in the top five. For the first time, the United States and Germany have dropped out of the top twenty happiest countries. Their places (12 and 13) were taken by Costa Rica and Kuwait.

During the year, the level of happiness increased the most in Serbia, Bulgaria and Latvia. In general, Central and Eastern Europe had the largest growth, the same for all age groups.

Ukraine ranked 105th in the ranking (last year it was 92nd). Our neighbors, Russians, despite the decline in living standards and the enormous death toll at the front, do not feel much concern and are ranked 72nd.

Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Lesotho are in the bottom of the ranking.

In 2012, the United Nations proclaimed March 20 as the International Day of Happiness by its resolution No. 66/281. According to the founders of the Day of Happiness, the holiday is intended to show that happiness is one of the main goals of humanity.

Earlier, "Apostrophe" wrote that according to the nationwide poll, 96% of Ukrainians trust ATO/JFO veterans and the military who are currently defending Ukraine from the Russian invasion.
